Large Cedar Dining Table with a gap, and two side tables

The gap running between the two slices of the top emphasise that each was a single slice through the whole tree.

The figure and grain reveal that every component is made from a single piece of wood.

Engraved in each item is a quote about cedar, and an insight into the source of carbon atoms that grew into the tree.

The smaller side tables match the curved edges of the large table, when used as extensions.

The table frame is both beautiful and robust.

Each side table is elegant in its own right. The two vertical supports are made from adjacent slices of the tree; the knots indicate a large branch emerged here and the drying cracks have been repaired.
